New steel framed rear extension with a butterfly roof, all designed to maximise the new building footprint area within a narrow site. The design was praised by the local planning authority for the contemporary design approach sympathetically working with the 100 year old victorian semi detached property. The design allowed for a new rear kitchen / diner opening onto the rear garden with bi-fold doors, which then unlocked the potential for the remainder of the existing ground floor area to be refurbished.
