who we are
Established at the start of 2025 we are a new architectural practice with decades of experience.
Fincloon Architects is a Surrey based practice setup by Eugene Reid, the company director, which provides a full architectural design, interior design and related consultancy service within London and the south east of England.
The practice team has extensive experience of undertaking projects for clients of all types, including major contractors, commercial, public sector and private clients throughout the UK, with a particular focus on projects in the Residential, Commercial Workplace and Education sectors.

We have a unique understanding of operational, commercial and development issues relating to both residential and commercial sectors.
Our list of project experience includes private houses and apartments, student accommodation, commercial fitout, hospitality and educational sector projects.
Our way of working is collaborative, we listen closely to our clients’ aspirations and work with them to inform the brief. We then contribute to, or challenge our clients to earn their trust and achieve their objectives and end vision. This friendly and collaborative approach is what underpins all our projects.
The Brief
The first step of each outstanding project is a clear brief. We listen to you making sure we fully understand your overall objectives and advise you on important opportunities and challenges.
Concept Design
After the brief has been agreed, we can create a number of initial design options. We will present these concepts to you in form of drawings, sketches and initial 3D views, as bets appropriate to help you to make informed decisions.
Technical Design / Construction
Your preferred design option will be developed in more detail using BIM (Building Information Modeling) and we will submit a planning application if it is required. We will produce detailed information which will allow you to obtain quotes from suitable building contractors and suppliers.
Site Review
We will make sure that your project will be delivered in accordance with the agreed drawings and specification. We can carry out regular site inspections to ensure that your design vision will be achieved. Once the project is complete it’s time to enjoy your new space.

We have extensive experience working with both new and existing buildings, including areas under specific planning legislation and listed buildings. We have an outstanding planning record in London as well as further afield. Our breadth of knowledge allows us provide accurate and detailed advice early in the design process.
We understand the pressures and financial commitment that are required from the Client and are fully committed to successfully delivering each project within budget and timeframe.
We also offer advisory roles, working collaboratively with clients and their consultant teams.
We design innovative designs to rustic buildings in rural settings, through to striking contemporary projects in urban environments.
